About Tammy Bruce writing on Faye Turney

by @ 4:21 pm. filed under Shatt-al-Arab, United Kingdom, war, Iran, USA

I just searched for a full video clip of Iranian television showing British boat people eating pancakes in Teheran to find out, why the British foreign office might tell about it, that the airing of the video was “completely inacceptable”. Accidently I stumbled over the article “Pancakes Versus Resisting the Enemy“, I had never heard before of Tammy Bruce. In the top of the page, I read a slogan saying “Your Defense Against the New Thought Police”, so I thought, well, that will be interesting to read the opinion of a tough chick in favour of free speach. What I got to read then, was really a surprise.

Let’s say a word as a blogging cat first about Faye Turney. I am off the opinion, that the letter to her mom and dad shown on television around the world, where she impishly admitted trespassing, but told the Iranian forces were very friendly and very hospitable, makes Faye Turney from “Foxtrot 99″ appear as a really waggish girl. The black headscarf Faye Turney is wearing in Teheran makes her looking tender and female - and of course she looks even though smoking on the video from Teheran much more sexy than she looks like on this photo here with a rifle in her hand.

But now, let’s have a look, what that the tough chick Tammy Bruce wrote in her article on Faye Turney and the pancakes. I would have expected to read something about the unclear position of Faye’s boat or maybe something about the undefined border in the Shatt-al-Arab waterway, but Tammy Bruce didn’t come up with such well-known and boring topics. Tammy Bruce wrote instead, that she is disturbed by the criminality of “the Iranians”.

Oh, the Iranians are all criminal, and any evidence is not needed at all? Is there any reason for the public to believe any word of the people starting the war in Iraq with lies to the public? Is it not possible, that there is another secret Blair-Bush memo like that for the Al-Jazeera bombing, but this time with an agreement to misinform the public about the real place of this incident? Well, that doesn’t sound like a defense against a new thought police, but like a police against the people’s use of their brain.

But that is not all, what Tammy Bruce wrote in her article. Tammy Bruce criticizes heavily, that Faye Turney has been manipulated without the need of any torture and did the bidding of the enemy by admitting she was in Iranian waters as the Iranian forces got her. That’s intersting. The tough chick with the pencil, Tammy Bruce, alleges Faye Turney, the tender girl serving in British forces with a rifle in her hand, that she lied.

And finally, I didn’t remark, that the United Kingdom or the USA declared a war against Iran, so how can it be an enemy? Maybe Tammy Bruce as a typical republican desk hero is just better informed as I am as a cat? Maybe the USA declared a secret war on Iran? That would at least explain, how it might be, that a bunch of Iranian officials have been vanished. Among them was a general of the Iranian Revolutionary guards forces, Ali Reza Asquari, about whom the USA told, he just rercently decided voluntarily in Istanbul to fly with the CIA to the USA.

The problem is, that nobody in Iran believes, that general Asquari voluntarily deserted from his job and left his family behind in the Iran. And the US government does not show any video evidence, that the CIA didn’t kidnap the man like they did it with Mullah Umar or Khaled El-Masri. If the US government would show a statement of the five kidnapped Iranian officials stating, that they are well on and deserted freely, then the Iranian government would be blamed and the whole operation of the foreseeable counter-hostage-taking with the British forces arrested in Teheran would probably been solved really quick. And the US government surely does not want a new war neither at the moment.

What does this say on the truth the American government is telling it’s people? The US government does not even show any evidence, that they are not torturing their “guests”, as they named the Iranian hostages officially. So why the USA are acting like they do? The answer is simple. In 2004 the USA lost their complete intelligence network in Iran due to their own stupidity, and now they are trying by hostage-taking and torturing the hostages to get some knowledge about Iranian support of political groups in Iraq. For sure, that is not a way, that is accepted publicly in the world, if it is known. That is, why we see here this sad game of hostage-taking and counter-hostage-taking.

Luckily for Tammy Bruce, her world is obviously not that complicated. Her article witnesses that she is a surprisingly ditzy desktop hero blaming the captured Faye Turney for a lack of bravery. For herself the tough chick is probably even afraid of going fishing onto the Persian gulf. Such a pity. I have to confess, I would enjoy seeing Tammy Bruce on video in Teheran as a warm, tender and sexy girl wearing a black headscarf while writing girlish letters to her parents.

Wasn’t it Valerie Plame and her cover business who oversaw some of the intelligence work on Iran?

That Phony Tony and Bush are lying through their teeth is clear. What strikes me is how complicit the mainstream media here in Germany acts. As if this whole Iraq-has-WMD-OhMyGod-mess didn’t happen some years ago? They’re really pretending that whe the people have no reason to be suspicious of their complicit coverage.

Just compare the pictures of these british soldiers to the pictures of Abu Ghraib (http://www.antiwar.com/news/?articleid=2444) and you know who’s decent and who’s barbaric.
