Half a year ago Tread explained the American way of life:
“I don’t understand how all this money stuff works but I think President Bush is really onto something. I woke up the other day and realized that all we have to do is print money and give it away to everybody! Here is how I think it works. In spite of the fact that our dollars are just pieces of paper, all over the world people think that our dollars are valuable and will do anything to get them. Why they think this I don’t understand, but they do. They make our clothes, our cars and most of the things we need. They even sneak into our country and are willing to do all the stuff that we hate to do, like mow our grass, wash our dishes and cook our food. In exchange we give them pictures of our dead presidents on ornately decorated paper. What a deal! The whole thing reminds me of when we traded some beads and trinkets to the Indians for what is now New York City. I think we finally come to the point where no one in the United States should have to work for money anymore. We will just print all we need!
I don’t know how long we can continue to pull this off but it could be for a long time. Most of our own people aren’t even catching on yet, and it took the Indian’s years to figure it out!”
Well done, the explanation. Missing is just this point: and if they are not willing, the United States will use force.
