As German Politblog remarked, it seems to be, that a couple of months before the former dictator of Iraq Saddam Hussein was killed with a death sentence, he has handwritten a letter to the American people, that was not really covered by the mass media. It may make sense not only for historians, but also for the rest of the American people to read the letter, which is published on albasrah.net.
Maybe it is interesting to you, what Saddam Hussein wrote in his last letter to the American people? As Saddam Hussein is dead, it shouldn’t have any potential to do harm anymore, so you might give it a try to read it:
People of America, it still seems to me that the officials in your government are still lying to you and are not giving you true explanations of the reasons that led them to embark on their aggression against Iraq.
If you go reading the letter further, you will find words like these telling the same as Tyler Drumheller, ie that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney knew very well about faked reasons of war:
It is neither reasonable nor convincing that a country like America to which the doors of the intelligence agencies in the east and most of the countries of the west have been opened did not know the truth and could not know the truth.
Strang thing. The lies of the US administration were not covered at this time in the mass media that well as Saddam Hussein did it. Was Saddam Hussein in summer 2006 perhaps a quicker and more reliable source of information than western mass media?
And now you may want to find out, what Saddam Hussein thought about the reasons of the US government to start the Iraq desaster:
Yes, esteemed ladies and gentlemen, your government deceived you, and you, or rather most of you, had no chance to inquire of themselves or of others in order to discover the truth because the Zionists in the lobby who advocated the war together with some of the centers of power were deceiving you and tricking you, hiding from your eyes the real truth, exchanging the facts for falsified and slanted information.
Is Saddam Hussein again a quicker and more reliable source than Western mass media? If so, how long would it need to have Western mass media broadcast the truth on major TV channels? OK, it’s not fair to compare blind propaganda of a dictator with the valuable information from major news networks.
But it is actually a pity, that Saddam Hussein is not available anymore to testify in possible criminal charges against current or former members of the US administration, but someone might be very lucky with that. Just one more question: Have you ever thought about, that Saddam Hussein was not sentenced to death to punish him, but to make him silent as a witness?
