Marcel Bartels has officially sent the following petition to the Petitions Committee of German Parliament today:
The German Government and the German Parliament shall ask the government of the United States of America to proceed further investigations regarding the attacks of 9/11.
Reasons:
Due to the casus belli 9/11, which caused the NATO state of defense and a UN resolution, Germany is engaged in the war in Afghanistan with about 3000 soldiers, tornado jets and KSK special forces.
Goal of the war is to arrange the building of a civil society in Afghanistan. For that mission to succees, it is neccessary to an extremely high degree to appear credibly before the people of Afghanistan. The credibility of the missions ISAF and OEF can be increased through further investigations of the events of September 11, 2001.
Especially in many muslem influenced countries large parts of the population have serious doubts on the correctness and completeness of the investigation’s results of the 9/11 events. These doubts are hardened by questions brought up in popular publications and media, which are unanswered so far and by prominent persons like the former candidat for presidency senator John Kerry, who told the public recently, that he believes the WTC building number 7 was basted with controlled demolition and that the official investigation’s result, that the building collapsed due to fire, was wrong. With further investigations of 9/11 as independant and credible as possible, there could be surely dispelled some doubts.
Doubts on the correctness and completeness of the investigation’s results of the 9/11 events are used in the islamic world to recruite fighters against a civil society of a western archetype. A further invistigation of the events of 9/11 could counteract these doubts, could increase the credibilty of the mission of the German soldiers in Afghanistan and could therefore decrease the risk of attacks against German soldiers in Afghanistan.
Given the background, that the events of 9/11 are the casus belli of the war in Afghanistan, and that the German army is engaged there also upon a request of the USA with about 3000 German soldiers, tornado jets and KSK special forces, a request to the USA for further examination of the casus belli, that can reduce the danger for the life of German soldiers in Afghanistan, seems not to be disproportionate.
According to the article “Petition zum Afghanistan-Krieg und zum Casus Belli 9/11” in the blog Mein-Parteibuch.com Marcel Bartels is now waiting for the petition being accepted for co-signature.
