The anti-war movement is uninformed

by @ 5:24 pm. filed under propaganda, Iraq, war, USA

Gabriele Zamparini from The Cat’s Dream - nice to see more cat’s around in the world ;-) - commented in The Cat’s Dream Blog “anti-war activist” Phyllis Bennis, who just wrote about the Iraqi resistance:

We know virtually nothing of what most of the factions stand for beyond opposition to the U.S. occupation - and from my own personal vantage point, of the little beyond that that we do know, I don’t like so much.

The cat’s dream blog gave some nasty answers to “Mamma Mia anti-war activist” Phyllis Bennis telling that the Iraqi resistant fighters are heroes. Why so nasty, Gabriele? I think, as a cat, that Phyllis looks like a really smart and catty girl. I believe her, when she says: “We know virtually nothing of what most of the factions stand for…

Phyllis says she knows virtually nothing, so let’s try to change that situation a little bit. We live in times of propaganda, so what we need is a lot of intelligence to understand what’s really going on. Of course, we can agree easily, that Iraqi resistance humans fighting like a cat against the coalition dogs of war occupy the dogs so that cats and humans in other places of the world like Southern America can breath a little bit, but that doesn’t say that US war propaganda will only influence the mind of Iraqi people.

So let’s try to look a bit closer to identify nowadays war propaganda as war propaganda and give Phyllis some more ideas of what’s really going on in Iraq. Before the first gulf war we all saw “nurse Nariyah” and her remix of infidel men slaughtering small children like in the fairy tale Peter the Hermit told to start the First Crusade in year 1095. Cat’s would never believe such a crappy story, but how many humans believed the PR joke of Nijirah al-Sabah?

How many people believed, that Saddam Hussein had ties to Al Qaeda and was therefore responsible for 9/11? By the way, may be Saddam Hussein was responsible for WTC 7? Just kidding, but let your TV stay tuned, some people may urgently need someone to blame for the demolition. How many people didn’t understand, that the war was just started 2003, because the US government was then absolutely sure, that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction?

So that’s the propaganda, which is already uncovered and known to the broad public, but shouldn’t we assume, that there are a lot of more stories of of war propaganda uncovered? Have a look at Al Qaeda. Aren’t their videos and pictures look funny? Do you believe, that any of the pics, sounds and videos are real? Or doesn’t look the Al Qaeda proaganda all look like the usual mass media crap photoshopped together in the USA?

So, if the Al Qaeda videos are crap, what about Al Qaeda itself? Might we better spell it Al CIAda? Many people in Iraq believe, that Al Qaeda suicide bombers are not terrorists but just tricked into the situations and do not even know, they have bombs with them. But if not Al Qaeda suicide bombers, who else might carry the bombs? Have a look at the photos of these two terrorists and their weapons caught in a police control around Basra. Are these faces of the real Al Qaeda?

Why should they do such things? Maybe such things are done to split the Iraq into three small countries, which are afterwords all dependent on goodwill and weapons of the USA and their New World Order and will sell their oil cheap therefore?

So, if not fighting against Al Qaeda, whom are the coalition forces fighting against? Let’s assume, the US really disliked Saddam Hussein. Did you listen to his speeches in the mass media of the free world? No? Oh, the mass media just forget to report about it? So, maybe, now you want to have a look into Saddam Hussein’s last letter to the American people to find out, what the other side of the war thinks. After reading it, you may think, that the real opponent of the US invasion in Iraq are not collaborating muslim extremists and parts of the US backed Iraq government, but still the socialistic Baath party fighting a secret service driven war against the occupators, with the target of a unified Iraq and equal rights for all citizens. Have a look at the Al Basrah website and build up your own opinion.

Or do you think, establishing the sharia is any progress for the freedom of women in Iraq against the rule of Baath party? If you think so, have a look at the website of The Organisation of Women’s Freedom in Iraq.

You may think now, that collaborating muslim extremists and opposing government parts in Iraq are just part of kind of a muppet show pretending the people an illusion of democracy and a need for more “security forces”. What to do, if you feel now sympathy with the Iraqi resistance? Well, against that I can’t help you out. Any cat may think, what it want.

I don’t think, the “anti-war movement” is embraced. I just think the anti-war movement is just poorly informed.
