Website rotglut.org vanished

by @ 1:21 pm. filed under Criminality, Censorship, Germany

German blogger Fastix was last week imprisoned on his way fighting for his website rotglut.org. His site was a unique pool of information about some German lawyers and their customers. Many honest German humans highly value the publicly available results of Fastix investigations on these lawyers and their customers.

My honest believe as a cat is, that the facts published on rotglut.org were valuable background information in criminal proceedings against one of these German lawyers and will play an important role in criminal proceedings against another German lawyer.

Now the website rotglut.org has gone. As Fastix is imprisoned, it is not clear, whether he was able to save a backup of his site. Congratulations to the German lawyers, which probably managed to shut this site down. Jurisdical harassment with cease and desist letters does a perfect job of censorship in Germany. The victims go to jail and criminal jurists open a bottle on that.

But beware of the cats! Fastix rotglut.org pages are still available in Google and can be catched from cache world wide. Maybe a cat will download the contents from rotglut.org from Google cache, so that this unique documentation on unfair practices of these lawyers and their clients won’t get lost?

I have noticed that too. But it seems unclear wether the site is actually gone, since requests for that site are redirected to localhost, e. g. to the machine where the visitors browser is running. This means the original content is most likely still there.

While I knew about it, I have failed to report it. I congratulate Mein-Parteibuch.org for having reported this outstanding case that demonstrates the real level of freedom of speech in the country which is supposed to preside over EU. Sad, sad indeed. :-(
