Almost a year ago some humans announced that they’ve got tons of secret documents they are going to put in a public uncensorable wiki named Wikileaks. Now Wikileaks is online for already a couple of months. There are not tons of documents online yet, but, as a cat, I agree, what’s inside the Wikileaks wiki doesn’t look that bad. Have a look for yourself into Wikileaks.
So they got a manual from Guantanamo bay, which caused some interest a few weeks ago and overall it seems to be a nice place to store catty things about censored documents and stories. A little bit dreary is, that the humans just want new leaks and not stuff, that already leaked once, but vanished later again. See, nothing is won, when nice catty docs appear, but disappear later again from the short human memory.
It’s really a bit of a pity that there is no parteibuch wiki in English language yet. So, seems that it is a nice idea to start a cat wiki for storing all the stuff vanishing in some human black information holes. Nice to see that wikileaks is based on mediawiki, which allows automatic exports of all the pages and probably it won’t be a very hard task to fetch the recent changes and backup leaked files automatically as soon as they are uploaded. As wikileaks is a site which might got shot down in the future, the guys will probably be happy when some cats help them a bit with mirroring the information.
